Where is Sanaa located?

Sanaa is located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Kidani Village area. We have dined here multiple times and it’s always easy to snag a reservations. It seems many shy away from African and Indian cuisine but we are here to tell you, this is one of Disney’s best kept secrets!

Watch the animals from your table as you eat. We saw zebras and giraffes out in the savanna, making it feel like you are in another country!

How much does lunch cost at Sanaa?

Since Sanaa is a table service restaurant without a set menu, the cost will depend on what you order. Be prepared to spend anywhere from $19-$32 per entree, depending on what you order.

Kids meals at Sanaa are between $10-$13 and come with 2 sides, making it a great value.

Sanaa Menu

The menu at Sanaa is amazing! The spices and ingredients they use will surely impress those with a distinguished palate. Our 10 year old loves curries and spices so this was a huge hit for our entire family. But, if you have picky eaters in the family, there are options for them as well.

For starters, one of the best things to eat at Sanaa and something we’ve had multiple times is their Indian-style bread service. You will get 5 different breads (traditional naan, garlic-ginger naan, spiced naan, onion kulcha and paneer paratha), and 9 different dipping sauces, ranging from mild to spicy. They include cucumber raita, roasted red pepper hummus, tomato-date jam, red chile sambal, tamarind chutney, mango chutney, coriander chutney, garlic pickle and spicy jalapeno lime pickle. We loved the tomato-date jam and red chile sambal the most, however all were really good! This is a must try, don’t skip it!

For our meals, we got the Potjie Inspired meal, which includes 2 dishes. I chose the butter chicken and a cilantro-coconut vegetable dish. My husband got the tandoori chicken, which came on naan with pickled onions, tomatoes and sambal mayo on top. We did not get any of the kid meals, since the only Indian item on the menu was butter chicken so my daughter shared with me since she’s an adventurous eater.

Even though we did not order a kid’s meal, the waiter allowed us to order dessert for our daughter from the kids menu. She chose Pumbaa’s desert grub, which she loved! It was chocolate pudding with oreo crumbs and chocolate rock candy on top. I’ve seen this made with gummy worms on top but I guess they changed it up!
